Toastmasters is a great program to help the individual to become a better communicator and leader. We teach these skills through a network of more than 60 clubs throughout Hawaii.
Mission of each each Toastmasters club is to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
Members can give their speeches in front of their club in a supportive and safe environment. After their speech, they are evaluated by another club member on the good points of the speech, and ways to improve the speech. The members learn from each other.
The learning tools that is used by the clubs is called Pathways. Pathways is an educational program designed help the member build the skills they need, to communicate and lead.
A typical club meets two times a month. There are some clubs that meets weekly, and some clubs that meets once a month. The meetings are usually one hour long.
