Smedley Membership Awards
August 2020 - September 2020
- Each club that adds five new members will receive a $25 gift certificate from the Toastmasters International online store (sponsored by District 49)
- The first club that gains five new members will receive a set of club officer pins (sponsored by District 49)

This campaign is to stimulate the club building efforts.
Pineapple Gold Award
- All new clubs that were chartered by September 30, 2020 and achieved Distinguished Status by May 1, 2021
- $200 Gift Certificate to the Toastmasters International online store
Pineapple Silver Award
- All new clubs that were chartered by January 31, 2021 and achieved Distinguished Status by May 1, 2021
- $150 Gift Certificate to the Toastmasters International online store
Pineapple Bronze Award
- All new clubs that were chartered as well as achieved Distinguished Status by May 30, 2021
- $100 Gift Certificate to the Toastmasters International online store

Ambassador Award
Every Quarter
- Any District 49 Toastmaster can be an Ambassador! Simply visit as many D49 clubs that you are not a member of by the end of the Quarter, submit a report to CGD at [email protected] stating what club you visited, when and a screen shot or photo of you at the meeting by the end of the Quarter.
- The top three Toastmasters that visits the most clubs in the Quarter will be awarded the Ambassador Award and a TI gift certificate for $20, $20 and $5.
Show A-L-O-H-A Campaign
Every Quarter
- Attends two meetings of any D49 club 12 members and under by the end of the Quarter (not including your own club). Submit a report to CGD at [email protected] stating what clubs you visited, when and a screen shot or photo of you at the meeting by the end of the Quarter.
- The first three members will be awarded the Aloha Award and TI gift certificate for $20.
Open House Campaign
Every Quarter
- First 10 clubs that submit a report to CGD at [email protected] stating what club, when and a screen shot or photo of the meeting or Open House and including flyer, agenda, and receipts for reimbursement or request for TI GC by the end of the Quarter.
- Up to $50 reimbursement or a $50 TI gift certificate.
The Membership Leader Awards
Each Semester and at the End of the Year
To recognize and encourage people to be leaders in Toastmasters. To be a leader, you must lead. To lead you must be out in front. To be out in front, you must step out in front ahead of others. To be the first one to step out in front, is to be the foremost leader.
1. Membership Renewal Leader
Renewing your membership early. 50 points - 1st in your club, 25 points - 2nd, 10 points - 3rd. Be the first! (Ties will be averaged equally between all.) Email list of names, dates, and club, to CGD [email protected] by December 31, 2020 for 1st half and June 30, 2021 for 2nd half. 25 points-2nd, 10 points-3rd 5 points-1st half of club to renew. Be the first!
2. Membership Guest Leader
10 points per new guest. Submit copy of photo/screen shot with you, guest, with names, date, and club, and email to CGD [email protected] by December 31, 2020 for 1st half and June 30, 2021 for 2nd half.
3. Membership Developing Club Leader
10 points per position Club Growth Team member position – Club New Resource committee, Club Extension, Club Sponsor, Club Quality, and Club Retention.
4. Membership Sponsor Leader
50 points per new member. Submit copy of new member’s application showing you as the sponsor to CGD, [email protected] by December 31, 2020 for 1st half and June 30, 2021 for 2nd half.
5. Membership Club Sponsor Leader
100 points per club. Submit copy of new club application showing you as the sponsor to CGD, [email protected] by December 31, 2020 for 1st half and June 30, 2021 for 2nd half.
First Half Membership Leader Awards
1st Place - $20 TIGC and Certificate, 2nd Place -$10 TIGC and Certificate, and 3RD Place -$5 TIGC and Certificate
