Closing day of the 2022 District Conference.
Opening Keynote Chanti Niven returns for the Closing Keynote – “Reaching Your Peak”. Club Outstanding Toastmasters and Distinguished Toastmasters who have completed the highest educational designation will be honored.
Also will be announcing the incoming elected 2022-2023 District Leaders and close with the Speech Contest Winners and the 1st Place Winner to represent District 49 in the International Speech Contest Region Quarterfinals.

Chanti's life has certainly not been an easy one and she quickly understood that reaching your peak wasn't plain sailing to the top. Rather, it was fraught with difficulty and danger. Success wasn't about planting your flag at the peak, it was about being able to face and overcome challenges and keep going. After a fascinating conversation with Cathy O'Dowd (the first woman to peak Mt. Everest from both sides), Chanti began to see things differently. A startling revelation provided a new incentive and became the driving force in Chanti's life. It has helped to achieve success in so many areas. Achieving your peak is less about being THE best and more about being YOUR best. It is about conquering your personal fears and limitations and overcoming challenges.
